Chris’s passion for building began in a high school woodshop class, where he discovered the satisfaction of creating something from nothing. His path to founding his own construction business was anything but traditional. Before entering the trades, Chris spent 11 years teaching middle school math and science where he made a point of incorporating building and design projects with his students. He also worked in the sporting goods industry, and even ran a bike shop. Along the way, he developed a broad skill set—from calculating complex double-bevel angles using trigonometry to mastering inventory management—that seamlessly transferred into the construction world.
After years of fixing, remodeling, and crafting custom furniture for his wife, Chris made his passion official, starting as a remodel construction laborer and quickly advancing to lead carpenter and job supervisor for a respected construction company in Canby. During this time, he realized there was a better way to serve clients: with a more personal, client-focused remodeling experience.
