Custom Bunk Beds

This was an amazing collaborative project with an amazing interior designer who wanted a set of custom bunk beds for her beach house. We worked back and forth on what her wants and needs were and they balanced that with the structural capacity of the building infrastructure. It was a great process and an amazing result that we are really proud to share with you.

The goal of this build was to create two raised bunk areas with individual niches that also allowed for a queen bed to be situated underneath. In order to make this happen I needed an over span structural framing that would connect with the floor joists and wall structure.

We are super proud of the outcome of this very tough build with a tight deadline. All of the lines and details turned out great. We can’t wait to see what it looks like stained and painted.
